at work on monday i received an email in which the sender signed off

and i had to just. mark it unread and come back to it later because i felt my brain coming apart like sections of an orange. FRATERNALLY……….. does one pronounce “Bro.” as “bro” or “brother.” is this common? ???
i forgot to say but this is a frat guy. it was a frat guy. im still reeling and its been days.
